Corporate partner Aaron Schlaphoff and litigation partner John Carlin participated in a panel discussion as part of the American Investment Council (AIC) Chief Compliance Officer’s Working Group lunch at Paul, Weiss’s New York office.
The panel, “Preparing for the ‘New’ Regulatory Environment,” covered the latest regulatory compliance developments impacting private fund advisers, including concerning outsourcing, and new SEC proposed rules on cyber security and climate disclosures, among other things. The panel was moderated by Rebekah Goshorn Jurata, AIC’s General Counsel.
