Paul, Weiss advised Oak Hill Advisors on the formation and fundraising for OHA Senior Private Lending Fund (OLEND), which held its final closing on December 1 with $17.7 billion of total available capital across the fund and its related vehicles, including through OLEND’s levered and unlevered offerings. OLEND is the first vintage of OHA’s dedicated evergreen senior private lending strategy and includes $8 billion of equity commitments.
The fund seeks to capitalize on the growing opportunity for direct lending to larger companies and will invest primarily in North America across a wide range of industries that OHA considers recession resistant.
The Paul, Weiss team was led by corporate partner Maury Slevin and included partners Marco Masotti, Aaron Schlaphoff, Jyoti Sharma and Jennifer Songer, and counsel Rachel Shepardson and Arik Hirschfeld; tax partner Brian Grieve, and counsel Mashiho Yuasa and Patrick Karsnitz; and executive compensation counsel Jake Glazeski.
