Investment Funds Global Co-Chair Marco Masotti spoke with The New York Times about current challenges affecting the private equity industry’s ability to raise funds or exit investments. In response to fundraising struggles over the past few years, Marco predicts a consolidation of the industry. “There will be fewer firms,” he says, but it will take a while to see that play out. “Private equity firms don’t die. They wither over time.”
