Corporate partners Marco Masotti, Maury Slevin and Aaron Schlaphoff participated in the International Bar Association’s Annual International Conference on Private Investment Funds, which took place in London from March 10-12. Marco, who is part of the conference’s organizing committee, moderated the “Interactive Industry Round-Up” panel, which covered the state of the private funds industry and how it is expected to grow; Maury spoke on the “Key Developments in Private Equity Funds” panel, which offered a deep dive into trends and hot button issues in private equity funds; and Aaron participated in the “Regulatory Challenges for Private Funds” panel, which addressed the SEC’s newly-adopted U.S. Private Funds Adviser Rules and their anticipated impact on the industry.
