Private equity fundraising rebounded in Q4, up approximately 37% from the amount of capital raised globally in Q3. Investor appetite was mostly targeted at buyout funds and secondaries funds, with increased interest in growth capital strategies. With the end of the COVID-19 pandemic on the horizon, private equity fundraising is expected to continue to rebound in 2021.
