Paul, Weiss represented General Atlantic in the take-private sale of its publicly traded portfolio company EngageSmart, a business-to-business software company, to Vista Equity Partners, valuing the company at approximately $4 billion. After giving effect to a rollover by General Atlantic, Vista affiliates hold approximately 65% and General Atlantic affiliates hold approximately 35% of EngageSmart’s equity.
