Ted McBride is a partner in Paul, Weiss’s Investment Funds Group and a founding partner in the Los Angeles Investment Funds Group where he advises on all matters relating to the formation, structuring and operation of private investment funds, including buyout funds, hedge funds, hybrid funds, distressed funds, credit funds, evergreen funds, co-investment funds, funds of funds and venture funds, as well as continuation vehicles and GP-stakes transactions.
Ted regularly guides clients on all matters related to their business, including regulatory compliance and risk management, internal governance and economics, employment and succession planning, and secondaries and liquidity solutions.
In addition, Ted has experience representing institutional clients with respect to their investments in private funds.
During his career, Ted has advised many prominent private investment firms, such as Francisco Partners, Clearlake Capital Group, Related Fund Management, Solamere Capital, Gallatin Capital Partners, First Eagle Investments, GCP Capital Partners, Lone View Capital, Truelink Capital, Sunstone Partners, Turn/River Capital, Cerberus Capital, Balyasney Asset Management, Kennedy Lewis Capital, LCN Capital Partners and Windjammer Capital.
