Mariela Cisneros is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Investment Funds Group. She focuses on the formation and operation of a variety of private investment funds, including private equity funds, hybrid funds, distressed funds, credit funds and other types of alternative asset funds, including in connection with co-investment and direct investment transactions.

In addition to advising on fund formation and operational issues, Mariela has experience establishing customized private investment funds and separately managed accounts for U.S. and non-U.S. investors, as well as advising on management company “upper tier” arrangements, investment management M&A and other strategic transactions, and regulatory and compliance issues related to private funds and fund sponsors.
