Hannah Klain is an associate in the Litigation Department specializing in civil and commercial litigation. Hannah has worked in several areas of law across various industries, including sports and entertainment, telecommunications and manufacturing. Hannah’s practice also includes congressional investigations, where she has helped clients respond to public-facing government inquiries and has prepared first-time witnesses for high-stakes testimony before congressional committees.

Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Hannah was an assistant counsel to N.Y. Gov. Kathy Hochul in the Executive Chamber’s counsel’s office. Previously, she completed a clerkship for the Honorable Stephen A. Higginson of the U.S Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. From 2019 to 2021, she was an Equal Justice Works Fellow staff attorney at the Brennan Center for Justice’s Democracy Program. At law school, Hannah was a junior articles editor for the Harvard Law and Policy Review.
