An associate in the Litigation Department, Eric Stern specializes in high-stakes civil, regulatory and criminal matters. He has litigated in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels, helped clients navigate government inquiries and proceedings, and advised companies on corporate governance and compliance matters. Eric has advised and represented clients on a wide range of issues, including securities, financial regulatory, antitrust, consumer class action, contract, tort, employment, shareholder litigation and utility regulation matters. He also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on housing and civil rights.

In law school, Eric served as an editor of the Yale Law Journal, in which he published a note entitled “A Federal Builder’s Remedy for Exclusionary Zoning.” He was also an executive editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation

Prior to law school, Eric worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and at the NYU Furman Center for Real Estate & Urban Policy.
