Antitrust Global Co-Chair Scott Sher was featured in an Axios Q&A article discussing the current administration’s approach to antitrust enforcement in dealmaking. In “Paul, Weiss Antitrust Pro on Evolving Reg Environment,” published on May 29, Scott notes the administration’s willingness to accept antitrust remedies in deals, and its prioritization of the technology and healthcare industries. “If there are ways to explain how a transaction makes America more competitive globally, I think the agencies will at least entertain such arguments,” Scott says.
