Antitrust partner Nicole Kar and associates Fynn Dewald and Timothy Noelanders co-wrote an article in Law360 on the European Commission’s recent report on the implementation and effectiveness of remedies in antitrust behavioral cases. In “Key Findings From EU Report On Antitrust Remedies,” published on March 12, the authors discuss the report’s analysis of 108 behavioral antitrust cases; its findings on the commission’s enforcement practices over time, including regarding the implementation and effectiveness of remedies, the divide between structural and behavioral remedies, and the importance of reporting obligations, among others; and its potential impact on future antitrust behavioral cases.
