Brian Bolin, Lauren Bilzin and Mitchell Mengden Author U.S. Debt Restructurings Chapter in GRR Americas Restructuring Review 2026

Restructuring partners Brian Bolin and Lauren Bilzin and associate Mitchell Mengden wrote a chapter in the Americas Restructuring Review 2026, “Investment Fund Activity in U.S. Debt Restructurings.” The chapter examines the increased participation of private equity and hedge funds in U.S. debt restructurings, and the variety of investment strategies they deploy in distressed situations, including in pre-negotiated and pre-packaged Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.
