Andrew Ehrlich, Brette Tannenbaum and Dan Sinnreich Recognized by The American Lawyer for Securities Class Action Win on Behalf of Coupang

Litigation partners Andrew Ehrlich and Brette Tannenbaum and counsel Dan Sinnreich were recognized in The American Lawyer’s “Litigation Daily” column for securing the dismissal, with prejudice and without leave to amend, of a putative securities class action against South Korean ecommerce giant Coupang, Inc. The plaintiffs had brought a sprawling complaint concerning Coupang’s 2021 IPO, which valued the company at over $60 billion at the time. The complete defense victory the Paul, Weiss team achieved is a very rare result on a first motion to dismiss, especially in a securities class action of this size and complexity. The Paul, Weiss team also included litigation associates Connor Ritschard and Morgan Mason, who is currently on secondment.
