Litigation partner Jeh Johnson was the keynote speaker at Legalweek New York 2018. Secretary Johnson’s speech, “Addressing Existential Threats: Surviving Turbulent Times and Finding a Way Forward,” identified cyberattacks as the most dangerous threat to the nation and discussed the roles of government and organizations in preventing and responding to cybersecurity challenges. “Security of an information system, of our email, is only as good as its weakest link. The most devastating cyberattacks by the most sophisticated actors often occur through a simple act of spear phishing,” Secretary Johnson said.
