Erin Morgan Discusses Risk of Mass Tort Litigation Over Social Media Addiction

Litigation partner Erin Morgan participated in a panel on March 22, “Applying the MDL Frameworks to Social Media,” as a part of the Federal Communications Law Journal Symposium hosted by George Washington University Law School. Erin’s panel explored whether similarities between the social media industry and the opioid industry may put social media companies at risk of mass tort litigation, as they are targeted by plaintiffs’ counsel over their alleged role in social media addiction.
