Paul, Weiss is representing global consumer products company Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc. in the $1.25 billion sale of its Global Auto Care (GAC) business to Energizer Holdings, Inc. Under the terms of the transaction, Spectrum will receive $937.5 million of cash and $312.5 million in Energizer stock. The sale is expected to close in the second fiscal quarter of 2019.
