Paul, Weiss is advising Rocket Companies, a Detroit-based platform company consisting of tech-driven real estate, mortgage and financial services businesses, in its acquisition of Truebill, a leading personal finance app, for $1.275 billion. The all-cash transaction will add consistent monthly revenue for Rocket Companies and bring it closer to its goal of creating a centralized destination for consumers to manage their entire financial lives. The deal is expected to close by the end of 2021.
