KPS Capital Partners to Acquire Lufkin Unit from Baker Hughes

Paul, Weiss is advising KPS Capital Partners in its acquisition of the Lufkin rod lift solutions unit from oilfield services provider Baker Hughes. Lufkin is a leading global provider of rod lift products, technologies, services and solutions, including automated control and optimization equipment and software for rod lift equipment to the oil and gas industry. Terms of the transaction expected to close in late 2020 pending closing conditions and approvals, were not disclosed.
