Kohlberg to Acquire PCI Pharma

Paul, Weiss is advising Kohlberg & Company, LLC in its acquisition of a majority stake in PCI Pharma Services, a leading pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical global supply chain solutions provider, from Partners Group, a global private markets investment manager.

Under the terms of the transaction, Mubadala Investment Company, an Abu Dhabi-based sovereign investor, will also become a significant investor in PCI. Kohlberg and Mubadala plan to partner with PCI's management team, to leverage the global growth trends in biologics and specialized drug therapies to grow specialized manufacturing and expand further into Asia and greater Europe. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
