Golden Gate Capital to Acquire DMC Power From Bridgepoint

Paul, Weiss is advising Golden Gate Capital in its acquisition of a majority equity stake in DMC Power, a leading designer and manufacturer of proprietary connector technology systems for high voltage power infrastructure. As part of the transaction, global private equity firm Bridgepoint will exit its investment through the sale of its stake to Golden Gate Capital. Financial terms of the transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, were not disclosed.
