Paul, Weiss is advising AlphaSense, the leading market intelligence and search platform, in the antitrust aspects of its $930 million acquisition of Tegus, a leading provider of expert research, private company content, and financial data and workflow tools. As part of this transaction AlphaSense raised $650 million in funding, bringing AlphaSense’s valuation to $4 billion.
Together, AlphaSense and Tegus will accelerate growth, innovation and content expansion in order to empower business and financial professionals to make smarter decisions through AI-driven market intelligence. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024.
