TMT Finance recognized Paul, Weiss as a finalist in seven award categories highlighting excellence in dealmaking and investment in the digital infrastructure space. The publication shortlisted the firm twice in the “Fiber Deal of the Year” category, including for advising Oak Hill Capital on its acquisition, alongside Pamlico Capital, of Peppertree’s stake in IdeaTek and its further investment in the company, and Oak Hill on its strategic investment, also alongside Pamlico Capital, in Socket Telecom. The firm is also a finalist for “Financing Deal of the Year,” for advising Consolidated Communication in its three-part, $3.3 billion financing; for “Mid-Market Deal of the Year,” for advising GI Partners in the sale of its portfolio company DR Fortress to fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty and Harrison Street; and for “Towers Deal of the Year,” for advising SBA Communications Corporation in its long-term partnership with Millicom International Cellular in Central America.

The current recognitions come on top of TMT Finance’s recent shortlisting of the firm for “Legal Advisory Trailblazer” for advising ZT Systems in its $4.9 billion cash-and-stock acquisition by Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), and of corporate partner Ravi Purohit for “Lawyer of the Year.”
