Scott Balterman is a counsel in the firm’s Corporate Department and a member of the Investment Funds Group. He advises alternative asset managers in connection with fund structuring and formation, corporate and regulatory compliance and day-to-day operations.

Scott regularly advises in the formation of private equity funds, credit funds, hybrid funds, hedge funds, co-investment funds, funds-of-one and managed accounts, as well as their respective “upper tier” management company arrangements. He represents both emerging and leading institutional managers, with clients including Apollo Global Management, CIM Group, KKR and Oak Hill Advisors, among others.

Prior to his law firm experience, Scott was in-house legal counsel at a leading alternative asset manager focused on structured credit and asset-based investments.
