Brad Brown is a partner in the Investment Funds Group. Brad has over 15 years of experience in the formation and operation of a variety of private funds, including private equity funds, continuation funds, hedge funds and co-investment vehicles. Brad also advises on investment management M&A transactions, “upper-tier” and management company issues, and regulatory and compliance considerations. Brad is recognized as a “Recommended Lawyer” in private equity funds by The Legal 500.
Prior to joining Paul, Weiss, Brad spent over a decade at 3G Capital, where he served as partner and general counsel overseeing the legal and administrative functions of the firm. During this time, Brad was deeply involved in all aspects of the business, including fundraising, partnership arrangements and employment agreements, structuring and execution of U.S. and cross-border transactions, regulatory and compliance, corporate governance, and complex global portfolio company matters, developing a unique understanding of the day-to-day operations of a multibillion-dollar investment manager.
