As a partner in the Corporate Department and a member of the Investment Funds Group, Andrew Day focuses his practice on the formation and ongoing operation of a wide variety of investment funds, including private equity, credit, growth equity, venture capital and infrastructure funds. He has significant experience in the formation of secondaries and continuation vehicles, as well as co-investment funds and investment management M&A transactions. Andrew’s experience also includes management company and “upper tier” matters, including internal management compensation, succession planning arrangements and employee co-investment vehicles and structures. He has also advised a number of clients with respect to spin-outs of asset management teams. Andrew also counsels private fund managers on a wide range of regulatory compliance matters, as well as investor relations and disclosure issues.
