An associate in the Litigation Department, Sam Margolis specializes in complex civil litigation, regulatory defense and white collar investigations for high-profile clients across a variety of industries. Sam has substantial experience representing clients from the outset of litigation through the appeals process in state and federal courts, and in inquiries and investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general. He has advised clients on matters concerning agency rulemaking, antitrust, bond issuances and commercial contracts.
Sam also maintains a robust pro bono practice, with a particular focus on prolonged incarceration and civil rights matters. In law school, he was a member of the Fordham Law Review and served as managing editor of the Fordham Moot Court Board.
