An associate in the Litigation Department, Miranda Gilbert focuses on high-stakes corporate and commercial disputes, with a particular emphasis on matters governed by Delaware law. Drawing on extensive experience before the Delaware Court of Chancery, the Delaware Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division, the Delaware Supreme Court and federal courts, Miranda represents corporations, boards, special committees and individual fiduciaries in actions involving alleged breaches of fiduciary duty, books-and-records demands, advancement and indemnification claims, “busted deals,” fraud and breach of contract claims, and other governance-related controversies. Clients and colleagues value Miranda’s ability to distill complex statutory and common-law issues into clear arguments rooted in Delaware’s nuanced corporate jurisprudence.
Before joining Paul, Weiss, Miranda litigated complex corporate and commercial matters at a leading Delaware law firm. Earlier in her career, she served as a judicial extern to two judges of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
