Lyuba Shamailova is an associate in the Litigation Department specializing in complex commercial litigation, with a focus on securities litigation and bankruptcy litigation. She has substantial experience litigating in federal and state courts across the country and has represented corporations in a variety of industries, including financial services, energy, telecommunications, automotive, manufacturing and technology.
Lyuba also maintains an active pro bono practice, specializing in family law.
Lyuba is a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Securities Litigation Committee. Prior to law school, she was a compliance officer at a leading international investment bank. While in law school, Lyuba served as executive editor of the Cardozo Law Review.
