An associate in the Litigation Department, Emily (Sasso) Parsons focuses on white collar defense, government investigations and internal investigations, including matters concerning workplace issues, securities fraud and other financial laws. In connection with these matters, she regularly interfaces with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, state attorneys general and the Department of Justice, including United States Attorneys’ offices. Emily also handles civil litigation, with recent cases involving employment issues, breach of contract, bankruptcy and other complex commercial disputes. Emily has represented major public companies in the fields of finance, professional sports, real estate and healthcare, among others.
Emily maintains an active criminal defense pro bono practice, representing individuals at all stages from arraignment through appeal. She has recently argued cases before the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York and in family court.
