In “GPs and LPs Push Envelope on Terms to Allow Continuation Funds,” Private Equity International highlighted a Paul, Weiss Private Funds Group survey of 50 recently raised private equity funds. The survey, which the group publishes annually, found that the growth of secondaries and the pandemic’s impact on the market have led fund managers to rethink fund terms and provide more flexibility around holding assets and capital use. “The pandemic has highlighted the liquidity needs of portfolio companies and underscored the realities of the marketplace and how long it takes to realize value,” said Private Funds Group co-head Marco Masotti, who is extensively quoted in the article.
