Litigation partner Liz Sacksteder and associate Tony Joe published an article in Law360 as part of its “Expert Analysis” special series. In the article, “NY Commercial Division Hyperlinking Rule Should Be Adopted,” the authors explain a proposed amendment to Commercial Division Rule 6 that would require e-filed documents to include hyperlinks to certain other documents and authorities. The amendment, released for public comment by the N.Y. State Office of Court Administration, “would promote efficiency and productivity in the Commercial Division through the smart use of technology, and its substantial benefits to both the judiciary and practitioners would far outweigh the minimal burdens of compliance,” the two write. Liz is a member of the New York Commercial Division Advisory Council.
