Judges Have Always Adapted to New Technologies, Katherine Forrest Tells Politico

Artificial Intelligence Group Chair Katherine Forrest spoke with Politico about the growing pains of using AI in the judiciary. In “All rise for the AI judge,” published on October 8, Katherine notes that while judges are generally cautious about adopting new technologies in the courtroom, there is a long tradition of them finding ways to do so.

“Judges have used new technology over the decades and have managed to reconcile its efficiencies with its risks,” she says.
