Litigation partner Jaren Janghorbani was featured in a Lawdragon “Lawyer Limelight” Q&A, published on January 10. In a wide-ranging interview, Jaren discusses her path to becoming a litigator, her courtroom style, her experience clerking for former Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, significant cases she has handled and other topics.

Stressing the importance of listening during trial, Jaren notes that “courtroom proceedings are not a solo show: there are other players involved, and what they say is important. If you don’t pay close attention to what answers a witness gives or what questions a judge asks, for instance, you’re asking for trouble.”
