Paul, Weiss’s first summer associate hackathon was featured in an August 5 article in Law360, “Paul, Weiss Hosts First Summer Associate Hackathon in NYC.” During a two-and-a-half-hour team competition in the New York office in early July, 20 summer associates, divided into teams of three to five people, assessed whether generative AI could be used appropriately for real-world assignments and explored the strengths and weaknesses of the firm’s AI and other legal tech tools. Judges in the contest included five Paul, Weiss partners.
The firm plans to host similar hackathons in the fall that will be mandatory for incoming associates across all offices.
