In an interview published on November 4, litigation partner Greg Laufer spoke with Benchmark Litigation about his experience representing clients in commercial litigation matters across an “extraordinarily varied” range of issues, including contract disputes, fraud cases, employment matters and internal investigations; the critical importance of teaching and mentorship; and his work on behalf of private equity clients, a significant focus of his practice today as co-chair of the Investment Funds Litigation Practice.
Greg highlights how the Investment Funds Litigation Practice leverages the full suite of the firm’s other elite practices. “We’ve got such a deep bench of talent here at Paul, Weiss,” he says, noting the firm’s strengths in public M&A, private equity M&A, restructuring and litigation of all stripes. “When you put all those things together, which we often do, both for pitches and for actual matters, there’s a wow factor there.”
