Paul, Weiss’s London office was featured in a Financial Times article describing its impact on the city and its success. In “Paul Weiss’s legal raid on London is a boost for the City,” published on February 18, FT describes the office’s exponential growth since 2023 and notes that the London office’s disruption of the city’s legal market indicates that Paul, Weiss and others have “placed a long-term bet on the enduring importance and global financial role of English commercial law.” London office co-head Neel Sachdev tells FT that Paul, Weiss’s focus on London allows the firm to be “ambidextrous” in serving global clients with respect to both U.S. and English law. “Over time, not being in London means cutting yourself out of a large part of corporate and private capital business,” he says, adding that the office “has been financially accretive to the firm in one year.”
