Litigation partner Elizabeth Sacksteder was quoted in the March 2 Corporate Counsel article, “Going In-House: What Law Firm Partners Need to Understand.” Elizabeth discusses the major shift in responsibilities and roles from outside counsel to senior in-house lawyer. “In a law firm, you’re doing the job you were trained to do,” she says. “But a senior in-house role requires a lot of skills they don’t teach you in law school, like building consensus, management, and working with a financial team, external auditors, investor relations and the press.
