Litigation partners Andrew Gordon, Jaren Janghorbani and Andy Bouchard spoke with Law360 in a feature on Paul, Weiss’s Delaware practice. The profile, published on August 5, was part of the publication’s series recognizing 2022 “Regional Powerhouse” firms in Delaware.
Law360 highlighted the firm’s many recent wins in major M&A disputes, such as our win for Channel Medsystems in its lawsuit over a collapsed merger deal with Boston Scientific; its work on some of the largest stockholder lawsuits, including its recent dismissal of a case against client Kraft Heinz; and its status as home to two former judges from the Delaware Court of Chancery.
Andrew says that the Paul, Weiss Delaware practice is unique in its trial abilities. “We are not afraid to take bet-your-company cases to trial, even when the odds are against us. And we often prevail in those cases.”
Andy notes that the Paul, Weiss community is especially close-knit, making his decision to join last year a natural fit. "The firm is a true partnership. It doesn't have a transactional feel."
