Corporate partner Lindsey Wiersma co-chaired and corporate partner Amran Hussein participated in the Practising Law Institute’s 23rd Annual Private Equity Forum. The program examined the legal issues and prevailing industry trends faced by corporate and securities attorneys and other professionals involved in the fund-raising businesses.
Lindsey delivered opening remarks; moderated the “Social Impact Funds” panel, which discussed the unique terms and structuring of social impact funds; and spoke on the “Co-Investments & LP Secondaries: GP Discretion, Disclosure, Conflicts” panel, which examined the growing markets for co-investment transactions and LP secondaries.
Amran participated in the “Fund Terms Update” panel, which discussed the evolving market for private equity terms.
The event took place online as well as in person in New York City from April 28-29.
