Tax partner Kiran Sheffrin will participate in the “Tax Planning for Domestic & Foreign Partnerships, LLCs, Joint Ventures & Other Strategic Alliances 2026 New York City” program hosted by the Practising Law Institute. The three-day program will bring together some of the world’s leading experts and senior government officials to explore the frameworks and intricacies of Subchapter K of the Internal Revenue Code, which covers partners and partnerships. Kiran’s panel, “Distressed Partnerships (Including Bankruptcy and CARES Act),” will explore the complexities that arise when a distressed borrower is a partnership, covering the tax implications of various restructuring transactions on different partners.
Kiran’s panel will take place on May 5 at 3 p.m. ET in New York and online.
