Litigation partner Kim Branscome will participate in a RAND symposium panel focused on where personal injury class actions fit within the mass tort landscape. The panel will weigh the advantages and disadvantages of class actions and consider whether there is renewed interest in personal injury class actions, especially in light of the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in Harrington v. Purdue, which has limited the utility of bankruptcy in the mass tort context.
