Katherine Forrest to Discuss Judicial Use of Artificial Intelligence at Fordham’s Eileen Bransten Institute

Artificial Intelligence Group Chair and former federal judge Katherine Forrest will participate in a discussion on the use of artificial intelligence in the courtroom at Fordham University’s Eileen Bransten Institute on Complex Litigation. Panelists will explore the latest updates in AI; issues courts may face in the near future, including how to instruct juries and regulate the use of AI by judges and chambers staff; and ethical concerns or prohibitions regarding the unauthorized practice of law or the judicial use of AI. The panel, which will take place in New York on November 12, will be attended by New York state trial and appellate judges.
