Litigation partner Joseph Bial is a panelist at the Fourth Annual Conference on Technology and Antitrust. Joseph’s panel, “Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence and Corporate Responsibility,” will explore the challenges facing antitrust regulators and plaintiffs in proving that price uniformity is the result of collusion. The panelists will discuss how “intent” may have a role in such cases, and the measures that should be taken by implementers of pricing algorithms to avoid illegal outcomes. The event will take place on December 13 in Beijing.
