Litigation partner John Carlin will present expert evidence to the U.K. Parliament on ransomware. The Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy session will cover the extent and nature of ransomware’s threat, as well as best practices for combatting cyber extortion. John will be joined by Aidan Larkin, CEO at Asset Reality; Jamie MacColl, research fellow in cyber threats and cyber security at the Royal United Services Institute; and Emily Taylor, CEO at Oxford Information Labs Limited and associate fellow with the International Security program at Chatham House.
The Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy scrutinizes the structures for U.K. government decision-making on national security.
