Litigation partner Ian Richardson will deliver a two-part workshop on the DOJ’s new Data Security Program at the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ 2025 “Privacy. Security. Risk.” conference. The sessions, which are part of a larger workshop called “Cybersecurity Law: Risk, Resiliency and Compliance,” will discuss the DOJ’s enforcement of a new sensitive data rule, which regulates international flows of bulk sensitive U.S. personal data and U.S. government-related data, as well as compliance strategies and early lessons from the first few months of the rule’s implementation.

The sessions will take place in San Diego on October 29 at 2:30 p.m. PT and 3:30 p.m. PT.
