Brad Karp Discusses Investigations in Securities Matters at PLI Event

Firm Chairman Brad Karp participated in a panel, “Securities Litigation – The Investigation: Recent Developments in Coordinating Requests from Government Regulators,” as part of the Practising Law Institute’s Securities Litigation 2024: From Investigation to Trial program on April 29. The panel discussed recent developments in internal investigations and regulatory proceedings in securities matters; how to implement best practices and strategies for internal investigations; how to differentiate defense and government perspectives on regulatory proceedings; and how to weigh the effect of recent regulatory proceedings on future civil actions, among other topics.
