Wafra Launches Broadleaf Financial to Provide Equipment Leasing to Fortune 1000 Companies

Paul, Weiss advised global alternative investment firm Wafra Inc. on the formation and launch of Broadleaf Financial Group, a new specialty finance company that serves Fortune 1000 businesses and corporate customers. The company will be capitalized by certain Wafra-managed funds.

Broadleaf will provide customized direct leasing solutions and sale leasebacks, while forming strategic collaborations with banks, independent lessors and other financing providers, with a focus on the logistics, medical, technology and construction sectors.

The Paul, Weiss team was led by corporate partners Ravi Purohit and Lukas Richards, and included tax partner Lindsay Parks and executive compensation partner Rebecca Coccaro.
