Paul, Weiss is advising Qualcomm Incorporated, one of the world’s leading wireless technology innovators, on its recommended acquisition of Alphawave IP Group plc (known as Alphawave Semi), a London Stock Exchange-listed global leader in high-speed wired connectivity and computer technologies. The deal values Alphawave Semi at an enterprise value of approximately $2.4 billion and aims to further accelerate, and provide key assets for, Qualcomm’s expansion into data centers. The acquisition is expected to close during the first quarter of 2026, subject to the satisfaction or waiver of certain conditions.
