KPS Capital to Sell Expera Specialty Solutions to Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj

Paul, Weiss is representing Expera Specialty Solutions, LLC, a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners, LP, in its $615 million sale to Ahlstrom-Munksjö Oyj, a Finland-based global leader in fiber-based materials. Wisconsin-based Expera is a leading North American manufacturer of specialty paper products for the industrial and technical, food and pressure-sensitive release liner segments. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2018.
